Special Interest Groups—Photography Society
Due to strong community interest, the Nelson-Atkins has established the Photography Society. Members play a key role in our multifaceted photography program.
The mission of the Photography Society is threefold: to support the Museum’s collection and department; to encourage personal collecting of photographs in the community; and to expand public knowledge of the art and its history through educational programming.
Photography members contribute directly to a broader public appreciation of the medium through the sponsorship of visiting artists, lectures and programs.
You must be a museum member at the Art Explorer level or higher to join the Photography Society. Join the museum.
Two levels of membership in the Photography Society are available.
