Volunteers & Docents

Volunteers are a vital and valued part of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

They greet visitors, provide hospitality in the restaurant, work behind-the-scenes in the Library and offices, and help visitors engage with collections and exhibitions.

They enhance experiences for visitors throughout the Museum and support the Museum's mission through hands-on service and leadership roles.

It's easy to become one of the more than 500 volunteers who share their time and talent with the Museum. Use the following links to start volunteering at the Nelson-Atkins.
